Installing & Support

We recommend placing the device in a location that has a good line-of-sight to a cell tower for better reception. You should be careful about placing the device with a lot of other electronic/network equipment (such as a data closet) as the other devices can significantly decrease the signal strength/quality. For more tips read our editorial "Do's & Don'ts of Testing Cellular Failover Signal Quality".
iStatus is easy to install. A typical installation takes up to 30 minutes; if desired, advanced configurations may take longer. An installation guide will be provided upon purchase, and our support team is available by phone and email to assist you as well.
